Hi again, Tumblr! I have a few blogs already (@goldenguy is my main), but I wanted to make this additional one to post and reblog miscellaneous stuff I want to share that isn't necessarily Fortnite related. I might post poetry, lyrics, rambles, and maybe even the odd (rare) vent-y-ish stuff. I don't know. Whatever springs to mind that I don't want to put on my main blog for some reason. I hope you enjoy your stay. :)
• I have a heck of a lot of names! Pidgey, Midas, or Goldie are my main three at the moment.
• I'm nearly twenty-two years old, and my pronouns are she/her mainly. But sometimes I like both she/her and he/him pronouns. Currently, I am leaning more towards she/her.
• Some of my interests (the one's in blue are my current favourites): Listening to music (I listen to music practically every day), Bioshock 2, the Borderlands game series (Mainly Borderlands 2), Fortnite, EverymanHYBRID, The Owl House, drawing, writing short stories and fanfictions, and playing the ukulele. I like video games and the lore behind fictional media. I also love my Midas (Fortnite) plushy.
• Some of my favourite characters in media: Subject Delta (Bioshock 2), Midas (Fortnite), Marigold (Fortnite), Jules (Fortnite), Jonesy (Fortnite), Montague (Fortnite), Evan Myers (EverymanHYBRID), B Smith (from the Zom-B book series), Jinx (Arcane and league of legends), Junkrat (Overwatch), Mercy (Overwatch), Bloodhound (Apex legends), The legion (De*d by daylight), my OC's Johnathan, Perry, and Blank, and my friend's OC Vincent.
Random things I want to share:
I love wholesome Fortnite headcanons and sewing clothes for my lil Midas plushy.
I mainly made this blog because I don't want to bother my followers on my main with posts. And I feel a bit sad and want to post lyrics... That too.
Spam likes and reblogs are OK!
And if you're wondering, the little banner (which is below this) that I've edited for this post includes the character Marigold from Fortnite.
Probably the most important thing: I have anxiety and such, but I do like to talk to people! But please don't be nasty to me. I'm here to have fun.
#Fortnite#Art#Bioshock 2#I don't want to tag too many things on this post because it might annoy people#personal#pidgeys intro

Pidgey Intro
Your name is Pidgey DuVran and you are the messiah's strongest yuri soldier.
You have a grown up job where you bother to wear your contact lenses and dress up nice but who caressssss when you are in the comfort of your own hive. Here you are engaging in your real, true passion- being a grubtube video essayist and artist in the thriving femslash side of the ancestor fandom. Proud animator of classics like 'The Verula Dentry Iceburg' and 'Female Clown Tierlist' and 'Giviet loathing(wicked) amv' and countless shorter fancam edits on websites like chitter and grumblr. You are known online only through your username PigeonPoints and your little bird avatar that crosses its wings in the side of videos to express annoyance. Is what you do moral and ethical? No.

Pokémon FireRed (2004)
i will not waste time on an intro because everyone already knows what pokemon is. and everyone already knows that FireRed and LeafGreen are remakes of the original games yeah yeah yeah whatever. but would you believe me if i said i've never beaten a pokemon game before? "yes", you say? well, uh, fuck. either way, i decided i might as well try to finish the games that started them all. or at least the remakes because i dont think i could stare at black and white screens for too long.
as far as remakes go this isnt half bad. this was made during gen 3 so expect similar gameplay to ruby/sapphire/emerald. it's been modernized quite well with the addition of held items, natures and abilities and what not. however, even with these shiny new features and QoL changes, kanto is still kind of an annoying place to be.
for example, the early game hell in many old pokemon games is especially rough here. when you start the game, you have barely any money to afford potions and/or pokeballs, only being able catch pidgeys and rattatas and bug pokemon with stupidly low levels (unless your patient enough to catch pikachu with it's 5% appearance rate, i wasn't), having to navigate a forest with pokemon that can easily poison you (oh yeah hope you have money for antidotes too asshole), trainers that barely give you any money, two gym leaders that will ruin you if you picked charmander, having to navigate a really fucking annoying cave to get to said second gym leader UGH. but once you beat misty it's smooth sailing from there. until the elite four at least.
it's fun finding all the little creatures in the grass and smoking other trainers with your specialized party, it's an addicting gameplay loop that still endures which is why there's like 60 of these games now. there are a few issues i have, mainly the concept of HMs. they're special moves you can learn that have uses outside of battle like cutting down trees and flying to towns you've visited before. however, you can't unlearn them for a good portion of the game so if your pokemon has learned one, they now have one less move slot to work with. so the "solution" is to just have a useless pokemon thats in your party only to use HMs, meaning now you have only 5 real pokemon on your team. it's insane that this was an issue in every single fucking game in the series until sun and moon, 20 years after the original games. better late than never i guess.
another issue is how EXP is divided among pokemon. only pokemon that were active in a battle get EXP, and depending on how many you sent out, it's divided for each one. i.e. if you used two pokemon and the enemy gives you 600 EXP, they each get 300 instead. three pokemon, 200. thing is most wild pokemon you caught suck ass until they start getting levels so you have to do what's called "switch training" which involves putting the one pokemon you wanna grind levels for at the front so they're sent out to battle first, and when the battle starts, immediately switch to your actual good pokemon and win the battle that way. eventually, your weak pokemon will get stronger.
this whole process takes forever and call me a basic bitch but i actually like the EXP Share in later games. all it does is save hours of your life grinding, but the one issue it does have is that it makes the games too easy, in which case, there's something inherently wrong with how the the main gameplay of the entire series is balanced. pokemon should stop trying to uphold traditions and try something entirely new! maybe take a few pages from other monster collector games like digimon and persona/SMT... but they WONT because these games are too mega popular and have a huge competitive scene and the last time they tried to do something different and bold with the main series (black and white) everyone hated them BECAUSE they did something different and no one FUCKING BOUGHT THEM!!!!! oh yeah wasn't this a review of firered
gigantic rant i had aside i still quite enjoyed my time with firered, when the game works it really works. when i finally have a team of pokemon i like and start demolishing trainers and gym leaders left and right it's really engrossing, even if the kanto games haven't aged the best. im still glad i beat it though and i wanna play more in the future, maybe try emerald or platinum next. i never quite got into pokemon the same way i did with other RPGs like final fantasy or dragon quest but it's still a fun series with lots of good monster designs, and when i do actually get to play the multiplayer with friends i always have a ton of fun. a good time, but if i see ONE more pidgey or rattata...
NOTE: i love you dragonite. i love you. i want hug. eevee too. baby

Chapter 2- Part 15
Mudbray and Fomantis, huh? Different from what we’ve faced so far, but far from impossible.
We’ll start with the ol’ stats-lowering moves- Growl from Scratch to lower both their Attacks and Sand Attack from Breeze to lower Fomantis’ Accuracy. I’m a little more intimidated by Fomantis because Breeze is at least immune to any Ground attacks from Mudbray, but Fomantis can hit both her and Scratch (because I’m guessing it doesn’t know any Ground or Ghost attacks).
So let’s get this going, let’s-
Fomantis.
Has.
CONTRARY??
youtube
I get it, game!! The Pokemon are going to have their Hidden Abilities a lot more often than in the vanilla games!! Even the random Trainers!! Have mercy on my wretched soul!!
So, a combination of several Fury Cutters from Attack-boosted Fomantis and several Mud-Slaps from Mudbray took out Scratch. I think they focused on her because Breeze is either immune or resistant to their most damaging attacks, so the A.I. saw it could do the most damage against Scratch for both Pokémon.
Now- I mean, I can win, Riptide can finish off both Fomantis and Mudbray easily, but…I dunno, it doesn’t feel right Scratch not getting experience points from this battle, all because I didn’t consider one of the Pokemon would have its Hidden Ability, it just seems…egh. So, you know what? The first reset of the run, right here! Considering how difficult Reborn is said to be, I’m certain this won’t be the last.
So we’re back here, and now we know to NOT try and decrease any of Fomantis’s stats. We’re just gonna focus all of Scratch and Breeze’s STAB power on Fomantis to get it out of here as soon as possible.
And now, it’s just Mudbray. It’s still just focusing on Scratch, and Mud-Slap isn’t doing much damage- but it is wrecking her ability to actually hit her enemies.
Luckily, with Breeze’s help, these two are able to finish off Mudbray as well and win us the battle!
Thank you. Now, if you’ll excuse Xera here…
I will always accept the creatures.
His name shall be Streak, and I will train him up to be on the same levels as Riptide and Breeze.
Scratch- you’ve done well. Now, you can rest with Nibble, in case the day ever comes where you’re needed again.
Also, I gave Streak the Quick Claw.
And that’s the end of Chapter 2! As I said in the intro, the new methods of note-taking and calling my player character Xera have worked out well on my end so far- I’m having a great time! Next time, we’ll see if there’s anything else this area of the Opal Ward has to offer, and then we’ll head back to the Peridot Ward to see if anything’s changed there! I’ll see you all then!

Pokemon Yellow Random Team Run Part 1
Okay. Here we go... again.
Rules are simple. I start the game, run a random number generator 6 times and I use whatever Pokemon whose Dex number corresponds to those random numbers. I will have to use cheats to get them at level 2, however. But evolutions are allowed. So if I get a Goldeen, I can use a Seaking, which means I can actually use Waterfall! ... Did you know that Waterfall is a Generation I move? Only Seaking has it! ... And a certain glitch Pokemon... Oh, and if I get Mew or Mewtwo, which can solo the game, I'll replace their moveset with 4 copies of Metronome for chaos.
Now. I've done a lot of Yellow version runs, so I would like to avoid using the same Pokemon as before. But that depends on RNG. So far, my top Pokemon in Yellow version were... Mew (duh) and thereby Mewtwo, Starmie, Charizard, Jolteon, and surprisingly, Omastar. So I would like to avoid these this time.
I am the randoman. My name is just a random function with no parameters, which usually generates a random number between 1 and 100, though I think that varies from programming language? Meh. Now the rival... what's the opposite of random?
I was going to use "Scripted", but that doesn't fit. So he's just a try-hard. He really wants to win while I'm messing around with random stuff.
Now then. The first choice. ... I really should throw the first two fights so I don't face a Jolteon at the end. But am I a coward, or will I rise up to the challenge?!
... The try-hard kind of let me win? So... there goes Vaporeon out the window. So if I throw the next fight against him, I'll at least end up facing Flareon. ... Ah, screw it. Jolteon it is. In that case, I'll level up Pikachu just enough to beat the try-hard a second time with some Thunderwave cheese and then run the RNG...
... How many years have I been playing this game? And I just find out NOW that you can actually get free Pokeballs? Wow.
It's such a hidden gift that even the game text messed up. Anyways. Time to run the RNG.
... What if I don't get any Pokemon capable of Surf? ... Well then. I'll just have to walk across water again! ... And then be stuck in the Victory Road since that's an inside cell...
The results are in! Pokemon 1: Grimer. Pokemon 2: Bellsprout. Pokemon 3: Beedrill. Pokemon 4: Snorlax. Pokemon 5: Rattata. Pokemon 6: Paras.
... Well, the good news is I'm not critically weak to Jolteon, and Snorlax can learn Surf. The bad news is... these are some hot garbage. Oh boy. ... Snorlax also doesn't learn any new moves until level 35, since you only ever run into it at level 30 in the wild. Same deal for Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, who all learn their first moves at level 51. ... Well, TMs exist, and I'm not shy about using glitches to... wait. I don't have access to Fly. Uh oh. Well, there goes the glitch abuse. No Teleport and no Fly means I can't use glitches.
... Good thing I didn't throw the second fight, because this team is pretty damn weak to Flareon!
What a random-ass team. And because this Beedrill was caught as a Beedrill, it doesn't have Poison Sting. This is decades before X-Scissors, Poison Jab, and a Mega Beedrill!
Time to grind some levels! First opponent, a wild level 4 Pidgey!
This wild level 4 Pidgey is kicking my ass!
Well, after that sudden boss fight, I think I learned that wild Pidgeys are... devastating. So I'll have to resort to level grinding in the Viridian Forest, against Caterpie and Metapod! What could go wrong?
... Oh that's right. Wild Pidgeottos... that are stronger than Falkner's "dad's cherished bird Pokemon". Uh oh. Help. ... This is a boss fight worthy of a Yakuza style intro...
Well. Everyone's dead except Snorlax as usual. Obviously Snorlax will fare better than the rest because... stats. I'm "learning" that Paras sucks ass, which... well, I knew for a long time. It's also 4x weak to THREE types in this generation: Fire, Flying, Poison. So it dies to a Weedle. ... And I like how a level 5 Pidgey can completely negate Beedrill. Sand Attack when the only move Beedrill has is Fury Attack? Amazing.
So this is my team going into Mt. Moon. This is taking a lot of effort, as expected. So I'll stop here for now.
I did some research on the team here. And... So, Grimer. The first move it learns is Poison Gas... at level 30. Until then, it only has Pound and Disable. The only other damaging move it gets is Sludge at 37. Bellsprout's only real moves are Razor Leaf (level 38 as Weepinbell) and Wrap, which is... sure. Wrap, Bind, Fire Spin are super powered in this game, so that's fine. Beedrill gets Twinneedle at level 20, and until then all it has is Fury Attack. Snorlax is fine the way it is right now. Rattata is an early game thing, so it learns Hyper Fang early on. It really is like a Zergling, except it gets Adrenal Glands much earlier, but I only have 1. Paras... gets Spore and Slash, but... not for a while.
This random run is doing what I thought it'd do, which is provide quite the challenge. I don't have a plan for Sabrina or Agatha. Half of my team is weak to Psychic, and I'm sure Alakazam and Gengar will run laps around my entire team. But that's a future problem. I'll probably end up doing some Amnesia related cheese with Snorlax. ... That thing has to pull its weight, and it has a lot of weight to pull.

Silver's Boxes
A list of Silver's pokemon. This post is OOC. The list will be under the cut to prevent the post from being so long. Just moving the pokemon list to a separate post because the intro one is a mess right now.
Feraligatr, sometimes called Puppy
Male - He/Him
Is able to battle bond with Silver. After lots of practice and training, it has become rather easy to do... However Silver will still become extremely tired after a particularly intense battle.
[Image 1] [Image 2] [Image 3, 4th drawing on this post]
---
Weavile, called Weav normally
Female - She/Her
Trans. She has a love for marshmallows and other sweets and is rather mischievous.
[Images 1 & 2]
---
Crobat, also known as Batsy
Male -He/They
A kind and rather protective pokemon and often seen as the father figure of the group by Silver's younger pokemon.
---
Zoroark, often referred to as Shady
Male - He/Him
Silver somehow managed to save Zoroark from a wild Hydreigon without the help of his pokemon.... This had given Zoroark and Silver a shared fear of Hydreigon... At least most of them.
He has a fear of strong psychic types and is weary of Silver's dad.
---
Noivern, often called Noi
Female - She/Her
Do not leave her alone with chocolate. It will disappear. Quickly. She was saved by Silver's Crobat and sees the poison type as her dad.
[Image 1]
---
Gengar, named Spooky.
Male - He/She/They
A retired battle pokemon, they have a surprisingly strong connection with the dead. She can help others communicate with lost loved ones for a short time.
---
Shiny Houndoom, named Blue.
Female - She/Her
Used to set Silver's coat on fire to sleep in it. That habit of hers has stopped. She eventually decided to evolve so she could more easily protect those she cares about.
---
Ho-oh (@featheredjohtolegends)
Male - He/They
Watched Silver jump of the bell tower to save Noi, who evolved and saved the trainer in return. Is extremely embarrassed by the fact that Noi startled him that much to lead to that situation.
[Image 1]
---
Lugia (@featheredjohtolegends)
Female - She/Her
She's typically much less formal sounding compared to Ho-oh. Chose SIlver after breaking her connection to Lance due to events during the universe collision event.
---
Shiny Venipede, known as Scurry
Nonbinary
A rather aggressive little bug type. They enjoy running around and hiding under things.
[Image 1]
---
Silvally
Nonbinary - It/They
It tends to be somewhat weary of strangers, especially humans, but also doesn't seem to like conflict. The last time they tried to break their helmet it gave them a headache, so they haven't tried again. They evolved during the raid to get Giovanni back.
---
Shiny Walking Wake
Male - He/They/It
Has only recently been caught. He's very aggressive and will not hesitate to attack on sight. Currently stays in a secluded area of Lyn's sanctuary
---
Other pokemon (that I need to write a blurb for):
Charmeleon occasionally called Char (Male - He/Him)
Scarmory egg (N/A - Hasn't hatched yet.)
An eevee named King due to the skull pattern on his face. (Male - He/They)
Scizor (Male - He/Him)
Pidgey known as Little Guy (Nonbinary - They/Them)
Sugar and Spice the Eevee brothers. (Both use He/Him)
Shiny Deino named Tank (Male - He/Him)
Dragonair named Storm (Male - He/They)
---
Misc Pokemon
A group of Tatsugiri he's taking care of until he finds them homes.
Several Dieno and Dreepy are also registered under his Trainer ID.
---
More of his pokemon will be added eventually, likely with a new post to list them all instead of keeping them here.

Hello!
My name's Dyl and I've just started this blog by the recommendation of @stufful-propaganda, who turned me onto this entire community. Obviously, this blog is in honor of my one true favorite and bestest boy, Pidgey, the *real* star of the Kanto region. It was also suggested to me, again by Stufful, that I tell the story of why precisely Pidgey is my favorite pokémon
I'm young. I just got the ability to vote in the US last September. And when I was a kid, in third grade, it was the OG 151. Fire Red and Leaf Green were incredibly popular in my school, and Johto's lineup had yet to reach our minds and ears. For my seventh birthday, my family gifted me my very first video game, Pokémon Fire Red for the GBA, and I chose Bulbasaur as my starter. I liked the cut of his gib. He was wonderfully round and I liked his smile.
Now, for those of you who got interested in Pokémon closer to the introduction of Gen 4 and Sinnoh, there was this thing we had to do before wireless connection was an option. Ot was called a Link Cable, and it was WAAAAAAY too complicated for third graders, and only the rich kids had them. One such kid, let's call him Leon, cause that's his name and he's a SCOUNDREL, told me that trading and battling was available through the link cable.
This blew my adolescent mind. I had no idea. And he had asked for a favor. If he could borrow my Bulbasaur for the first gym (which, as you may recall, was Brock) since he chose Charmander. He promised to give me back my Bulbasaur when he was done.
I agreed. To be *kind*. And he beat the gym. And you know what he did next? He turned away from me in the bus seat and cried when I tried to get my Bulbasaur back, and his mom called my mom and said I was bullying Leon.
Unacceptable.
But I lost my very first starter, and I had only caught one other pokemon at the time.
I'll give you one guess as to the pokemon it was.
So I trained that eyebrow bird. I trained that beautiful feathered companion HARD. I grinded. Of course, I caught other pokemon along the way, but none were as important to me as my Pidgey. Nothing could come close.
I beat every gym with that Pidgey at the front of my team. I didn't even have time to learn the names of the elite 4 before my glorious graceful bird lord destroyed them, heart and cinder.
But there was one more challenge to overcome.
Leon didn't want to give up his link cable if it meant achieving justice through peaceful means. He didn't want to return my beloved Bulbasaur. But he was keen on utilizing its abilities to pit his Charizard and his Venasaur against my Pidgey. My wonderful, miraculous little bird.
And you know what?
They were no match.
My Pidgeot CONSUMED THE SOULS of Leon's ENTIRE team. He beat everything Leon could throw. He defeated MY starter pokemon.
But Bulbasaur wasn't my starter. Not really.
My true starter was Pidgey. Pidgey stuck by me, and always has. In Kanto, in Johto, in Kalos and even in Alola. He's been by my side.
That is why Pidgey is my favorite pokemon.
As I wrap everything up, I also wanted to say hi to @pidgey-propaganda and apologize if I'm stepping on any toes, as well as @rowlet--propaganda and @charjabug-propoganda because both Rowlet and Charjabug are VERY good boys and these two are correct to love them.
Alright! I hope to see y'all around!

Let’s See how Far We’ve Come
This post is purely self indulgent, but the newest pokemon op has been living rent free in my head for 2 days and I just had to jot down all my thoughts. There are SO many parallels and symbolism present to show how far Satoshi, Gou, and Koharu have come in the anime, based on direct comparisons in the past openings to the present. This is going to be a long post, so the full analysis is below the cut so as not to fill your dashes with an unescapable SatoGou ride.
Before we even begin, let’s get the obvious out of the way: Satoshi and Gou’s VAs are the ones singing the song. This is a deliberate choice that the directors/animators/crew want us to take notice of. They are the ones duetting and singing together - this is their OP, their story. As such, everything in this OP should be viewed as not just happening for our sakes as the audiences as an intro to the world and characters, it is Satoshi and Gou personally showing us how they view the world and each other. This is no longer a third-party’s view on our two protags, this is their viewpoint and perspective.
The opening starts off with the, now very iconic, scene of SatoGou standing with their pokemon on the grassy plains with the title card, but now even that has changed.
Almost immediately, the differences start. Before, the camera is simply climbing up the hill before landing on SatoGou with their starters. Now, The camera follows a Pidgey as it flies by all their current companions at the Sakuragi Lab. This presents us with a metaphor that, where OP1 was a gentle ascent, in the current OP, the boys and Koharu are soaring towards their dreams fast, much like the Pidgey.
Cute first clue that the boys have gotten closer: as it lands on SatoGou, both of the boys and their pokemon get literally closer, before the title card moves past them onto Vermillion City, where before the camera would simply linger on the both of them standing to the vast blue yonder.
Speaking of which, I always found it interesting that Gou and Co. are from Vermillion to begin with. It could have been any city, not even in Kanto, but it’s deliberately Vermillion. While it may not mean anything: Vermillion is a deep red color, matching with Gou’s design, and symbolizes life and eternity. I wonder if maybe this is a nod that Satoshi has found his forever traveling partner, whether we view this as romantic or platonic is neither here nor there, and it is the anime director’s way of saying “hey, this is our final form of the show” and maybe another hint that this will be Satoshi’s last journey - if Journey’s ever ends, it will follow a new protag or the anime finishes completely and only does yearly OVA’s to promote the games/merch. Food for thought.
Continuing on:
In the first opening, the boys are shown separately, doing their own thing in the present - Satoshi playing with Pikachu, Gou packing with Scorbunny
The new opening instead chooses to spend this moment reflecting on SatoGou’s past - Satoshi first meeting Pikachu and Gou first encountering Mew -
Both of these moments in time being what led them on to their current path. A path that, wouldn’t you know it?
Leads to them meeting each other and their current adventure.
Also, let’s go back and focus on Koharu back there for a second too, because she has changed a lot even just in these few moments.
In the first OP, Koharu is distant from the gang, almost cold and impassionate, even just kinda poking at Yamper who, even tho she likes, she keeps at a distance.
In this OP, Koharu has found her passion for pokemon, Eevee being a big factor, present in every shot Koharu is in. She waves to the boys as they leave, finally understanding and supporting them, as well as traveling with them to go visit Hikari, the Sato to her Gou. I think it’s wonderful to compare her start and finish and see how much she has grown thanks to everyone she’s met.
Let’s go back to SatoGou now, looking at the iconic paper cutouts and how they’ve changed:
While SatoGou are definitely alongside one another, they are still cutout separately with different reactions to something happening. Meanwhile in the current OP:
SatoGou are cut out from the same sheet of paper, now interacting with one another and side by side. They are no longer two research buddies who happen to travel together, they are two friends on the same journey together, even if they have different goals. Speaking of which, this might blow your mind (I know it did mine once I noticed):
In OP1, Gou is reaching toward Mew, his goal, then opens his eyes to which Satoshi then joins him, literally appearing in his life and taking him by surprise. This really shows how happy Gou is to find someone who is standing beside him and supporting him on this journey, someone who get’s his goal and doesn’t laugh or scoff at it. I think this is one of the reasons the ship name of “firstfriendshipping” still feels so right for the two even though Gou has always had Koharu. Yes, he cares about and likes being around her, but he’s never had a true companion who really gets him. Satoshi does though, and in that way, he’s his first real “friend”. Despite having a friend beside him though, Gou’s goal is this this unattainable Mew and it is his goal alone. In the newest OP however?
First off, I just really love the cinematography of this, but more importantly, the symbolism is off the charts here.
Where before Gou is standing alone before Satoshi appears into his life, Gou is now alongside his three Galar pokemon. They don’t just appear beside him like Satoshi, they are right behind him, pushing him forward to be able to reach that star in the sky - another interesting change in this OP btw: Mew is not a Sun, so far and shining so bright that it’s unreachable. Mew is now a little star that pops up off of a Pokeball, one of the very stars that appears every time he makes a nice catch. And, even more interesting, is that transition to Satoshi that every SatoGou fan took notice of immediately.
I just want to kind of linger on this frame and compare it to another OP for one second - OP 2, in particular.
In OP 2, we get this shot of Gou, his eyes reflecting his goal of catching every pokemon on his way to Mew. I find this so SO intentional on the part of the animators to compare these two shots and what they mean. Yes, the transition from Gou to Satoshi through a zoom in on Gou’s eyes is, of course, just straight up cool. It’s a good transition - smooth, sleek, and eye-catching. But it’s also just way too symbolic for no reason. What’s reflected in the character’s eyes during OPs are always meaningful, such as in the shot above from OP2 and also a similar shot with Koharu and Eevee in OP3
We know, it means a lot to have something reflected in your eyes. So, what can we infer it means that neither Mew nor Pokemon is reflected in Gou’s eyes in the newest OP but instead Satoshi? I think it’s pretty self-explanatory, tbh. Gou’s dream, his goal, is no longer just to catch Mew - he wants to see Satoshi reach his own goal one day, to be in a stadium competing and wining the championship, becoming a Pokemon Master. Satoshi, in this way, is Gou’s new dream.
Satoshi, meanwhile, has also grown a lot. We all know that Satoshi has tons and tons of Pokemon, so I find it interesting that OP1 takes a staunch approach at only showing Satoshi with Pikachu, not even hinting at what pokemon he might catch in the future of the show like Farfetch’d and hatching Riolu. In every other Pokemon OP before Journeys, Satoshi is shown with the rest of his team, expanding more and more until he reaches his full party. In OP1 tho, Satoshi only has Pikachu, symbolizing and pointing out how Satoshi always “restarts” his adventure with just Pikachu when he goes to a new region. How has this changed in the newest OP tho?
Not only does Satoshi have his full team, he also still has his pokemon from before, his Greninja,
his Alola team, and probably we’ll even see the others one day, considering how many other old companions and regions are coming back. Which brings me onto my next point -
We really have some of the greatest hits here, huh? Satoshi no longer has a single region - a single friendgroup or rival - influencing his dreams anymore. Satoshi has had and made many rivals and friends through his journeys and OP4 acknowledges this. We aren’t forgetting anything about where Satoshi has come from or how much he’s grown. All his past journeys have accumulated to make him into the person he is today:
The person who will take on Dande and who is traveling alongside Gou.
What a wonderful OP. Every frame is so well considered and symbolic, I appreciate it so much. I hope my super long breakdown and comparison of it made you appreciate it slightly more now too.

OKAY SO I JUST GOT POKEMON REJUVENATION AND HOOOO BOY
What the heck just happened?
That intro was rough as heck-
Anyways, I have a Totodile (he was hiding behind a tree; I call him Sneak), a Skitty (named her after my dead cat lol), and a Panpour (named Sea Monkey. I refuse to catch a Pidgey or a Spearow though-
The character I got from taking the personality quiz thing is a POC woman (at least presentation wise) with braided pigtails and buns. Lots of pink (maybe red?) on her too.
I'm going into this blind so I'm curious as to what's gonna happen next!
#totodile#skitty#panpour#pokemon rejuvenation#cat-but-bread#blind playthrough#holy crap this is a rough start#I'm so excited to see what happens next!#don't spoil it

A li’l Pidgey! She’s not too involved past Duck’s intro, so for now she acts as a stand-in for sprites I haven’t made yet.

How the Pokémon Came Into Our Pokeballs
INTRO
How the Pokémon Came Into Our PokéBalls. 10/30/99 (Intro.)
For my English class in late September of this year, I had to write my own myth. So, I figured "Why not make a myth about how Pokémon came to be."
My English teacher thought that it was a great story. So did my mom and a few other people. Since it was so good, I thought I'd feature it on this website. Click Here to read my story. Enjoy. :)
PAGE 1
9/22/99 Page 1. Some people say that the Pokémon came from the sky in a giant rock known as the Moon Stone. Others say that they originated from the depths of nature's elements. But, they are all not true... this is the true story.
A long, long time ago in the heavens above, there were such powerful gods as Zeus, Maheo, and many more. But, it all started with a rookie god, known as...Mewchu. He had thepower to help provide for the animals, plants, minerals, and to keep track of the seven natural powers of the universe: Fire, Grass, Lightning, Water, Fighting, Psychic, and the power of the Colorless Star.
Mewchu made sure that the animals and plants were fed from natures natures good foods. He made sure that nature's minerals, such as rocks, dirt from the ground, and the mucky messes were used for their purpose.
One day, Mewchu said to himself, "There must be a way to allow the animals, small and big, to do these tough chores, so that I may be able to be a little clean." Then, he thought, "Why not give some of the natural powers to a new type of creature." So, he went down to earth with the power to absorb the natural powers of earth, and share it. So, he stood... in the middle of the Pacific, surrounded by islands of seven and water.
He decided to start with making a powerful animal to assist him in his great task. Then, he found a weird creature on an island. It was mostly white, blue eyes, short arms, big feet, and a long tail with a pink fpsy tip. Mewchu has never seen such an animal, so he absorbed the power of Psychic from the stars, gave the creature a gentle rub on its back, and picked it up. And Mewchu said to the creature, "You, rare creature, have received the supernatural power of the Psychics from the stars above us. But you would need a name for you will be my assistant to make a new type of elemental creatures. I shall call you...Mew." And the Mew jumped for joy, then set him down with some wise words. "Mew," Mewchu said, "I want you to pick some animals that are here now, and share with them the Psychic power. For I would not be able to, because I may only share each elemental power only one time for one creature or more. I trust that you can share this power, while I handle the other six elemental powers." Then he set the Mew down, on its island and it went on its way.
PAGE 2
Mewchu decided to start with the power of grass, so he rubbed the grass of another island's ground, and he waved his hand over the trees. A triceratops began to lose its horns, and it turned into a creature called Bulbasaur. A caterpillar lost its fuzz; it grew a little bigger; it turned green, and it got the name of Caterpie. Another caterpillar's fur only shortened; it grew a small horn; it grew a little, like the Caterpie did; it turned orange, and it became a Weedle. A rattlesnake turned purple, and grew a single yellow stripe; it became an Ekans. A rat grew small horns, turned blue, and became a Nidoran (female). And, another rat grew bigger horns, turned pink, and became a Nidoran (male). A bat's legs turned to two tails as thin as a blade of grass, its ears grew bigger, and it became a Zubat. A tiny bush sprouted out of the ground, grew eyes,and became an Oddish. A fuzzy bush grew two teeth like a vampire; it became a Venonat. A bell-shaped palm shrunk; it became a Bellsprout. A mud puddle grew into a Grimer. Six eggs bounced and said, "Exeggcute." A puff of smoke became solid, and mentioned, "Koffing." A bunch of vines gathered around another Oddish, it was Tangela. A dragonfly grew, and said, "Scyther." The rocks got a body of armor, and said, "Pinser."
Then Mewchu dipped his hand into the firey volcano of another island, pulled it out, and waved his hand over the volcano. Many animals were below. A baby tyrannosaurus got fire on its tail, and yelled, "Charrrrmander!" A fox's tail split into six. Maybe, it's now a Vulpix. A dog turned orange, and growled, "Growwwllithe!" A pony got burned, and neighed. A chunk of ash was revived and turned into a Magmar. And, a big bird flew out the volcano, it was a Moltres.
Mewchu then dipped his hand in the ocean's waters, and gave another wave over another island with a big lake in the middle. A baby turtle and a squirrel on an island joined together to make a Squirtle. A fat duck turned yellow with a headache; it became a Psyduck. A tadpole got bigger with a swirl on its belly, a Poliwag came to be. A jellyfish's arms shrunk into two. It was then a Tentacool. A Slowpoke was formed when a baby hippopotamus grew a tail. A seal turned white, and grew a horn on its head; it was Seel. A shell opened up, and stuck out a tongue, hello Shellder. A Krabby came when a crab got crowned. A seahorse started to spit oil, a fish grew a horn on its head, and starfish grew a jewel. Here were a Horsea, a Goldeen, and a Staryu. A crown from a treasure grew onto a hard-shell fish; here was a Magikarp. A rare lochness monster grew a spiked shell on its back; it became a Lapras. A fossil was revived; it was an Omanyte. Out of an arctic ice berg, an Articuno broke out.
PAGE 3
Meanwhile, Mew shared its Psychic power with a Psyduck, and a Slowpoke. When Mew shared it with a rat, it fell asleep, and grew into an Abra. When Mew came across the body of a dead lizard, it summoned its spirit, and shared some "Gastly" secrets with it. Later, Mew met an anteater; Mew put it to sleep, and the anteater became a Drowzee. Mew found two monkeys, with an evolution. One turned into a Mr. Mime, and the other became a Jynx. Later in the night, Mew gave birth, and the baby Mew looked different. The new Mew gave its mother a psychic attack, and thrown it up a tree. Suddenly, the new Mew grew to the size that of a man with many years, It was a Mewtwo.
Meanwhile, Mewchu found a barren island with sand and rocks. He punched it, and out of the ground came the fighting and ground type creatures: Sandshrew, Diglett, Mankey, Machop, Geodude, Onix, Cubone, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Rhyhorn, and a Kabuto.
Then Mewchu summoned a thunderstorm, and lightning struck another island. The lightning hit a little mouse, and the mouse grew into a Pikachu. Metallic minerals rose out of the ground of a small area of the island, and it formed to make a Magnemite. A coconut was struck with a piece of the metallic material carrying some of the electric power; the coconut turned metallic; it became a Voltorb. A wild cat was struck, and it became an Electabuzz. And out of the thunderous clouds came a Zapdos.
And finally, Mewchu planted a transparent star in the middle of the other island. And from the star came the Colorless creatures: Pidgey, Rattata, Spearow, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Meowth, Farfetch'd, Doduo, Lickitung, Chansey, Tauros, Eevee, Porygon, and Dratini. Before Mewchu bid farewell, he waved his hand over all seven islands, and most of the creatures evolved into more powerful creatures. And, then He shouted out, "May these creatures be helpful to the earth, and may they use their abilities wisely." Then, he said with a tear of joy, "Farewell,... Pokémon." And Mewchu flew back into the heavens.
The End.
This piece of prose was written by Chris during September of 1999, as an assignment for his twelfth grade English class, and is believed to be the earliest surviving piece of prose (though Bionic the character predates this by three years, his prose story wasn’t written until 2000). Tasked to come up with his own myth for his own mythology, Chris created an origin legend for the original 151 Pokemon. Apparently it got a solid grade (to be fair, its juvenile premise aside, this is one of Chris’s most grammatically correct works I’ve seen.) It was quickly uploaded to CWC’s Pokesite 2, where the Christorical community found it, and can be found here if you’re interested in reading it against a bright yellow backdrop. Despite the title, the story is not a history on the origin of Pokeballs, nor is it an explanation about how any specific Pokemon entered any specific Balls.
The cover, shown above, is an uncentered collage of pictures of Pokemon surrounding Chris’s name and title. I believe these pictures are from the N64 spinoff Pokemon Snap, where your job was to take photos of Pokemon in their natural habitats (this explains why they’re strangely, often poorly, framed - Chris took these himself.) From left to right, top to bottom, they are Charizard, Dragonite, two Starmies, Scyther, two Bulbasaurs, a flock of Charmanders, two Pikachus, Mew, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, two Dratinis, Magmar, three Jigglypuffs, Porygon, two more pictures of Mew, and one last Pikachu for the road. For some reason, those Starmies have a weird purple, yellow, and green color scheme that they never have anywhere in the game (normally they’re purple, gold, and red, and the at this point unreleased in the west shiny form is blue, red, and dark blue). Maybe Chris’s printer was running low on ink?
Chris’s first sentence seems to refer to one episode of the anime wherein Clefairys and Clefables are seen worshiping a giant Moon Stone, which in the games is what they use to evolve, and a scientist travelling with Ash and team theorizes that all Clefairy and their evolutionary relatives came on the giant Moon Stone meteorite from space. This is apparently the case for the Clefairy family (at least in the anime, the games are a bit more coy about stating whether or not they’re actually from space), as later they are shown operating spacecrafts. But never is it suggested that all Pokemon came from space at one point, especially not on the giant Moon Stone, at the time only the Clefairy family, Staryu and Starmie, and sometimes Mew had been said to be extraterrestrial in origin.
Chris invokes Zeus, the Greek thunder and sky god who also served as head god, and Maheo, the Cheyenne creator deity responsible for the earth. I imagine that these were the examples Chris’s English teacher gave him for creator gods, though Zeus really wasn’t much of a creator god so much as its current ruler (he was of the third generation of Greek gods).
Chris sets out an OC as the creator of the Pokemon universe - Mewchu. Obviously this is meant to tie in to what was at the time considered the highest of Pokemon Mew, but the -chu suffix implies some sort of close connection to the Pikachu family that’s never really expanded upon. Notably, about eight years after Chris made this, Mew’s role as top Pokemon was superseded by Arceus, who has something of a similar origin story to this Mewchu - at the beginning, Arceus was the only being in the void of nothingness, until he decided to create Dialga, thus creating time, and Palkia, thus creating space, and Giratina, thus creating antimatter. After creating the Lake Trio of Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit, knowledge, willpower, and emotion respectively, Arceus disappeared, his job for the time completed. Notably, Mewchu’s design is never explained, so Chris’s creativity is limited to the name alone.
The elemental division in this story seems to draw solely on the elemental system of the TCG game, which uses an abridged system of types, which at the time consisted of just seven, Fire, Grass, Water, Lightning (or Electric), Fighting, Psychic, and Colorless (their term for Normal), while the reference to the Clefairy story and the Pokemon saying their names (which they don’t do in the video games or the card game) would imply that there are some anime influences in this story as well.
Apparently Mewchu did not create the earth, all he was in charge of was watching a bunch of animals that some other god created. In fact, in this story, Pokemon were created from real world animals. It is, of course, delightfully in character for Chris to have Mewchu create the 151 original species of Pokemon purely to help him do chores. These seven islands Chris mentions seem to be Chris’s inventions; it’s tempting to compare these islands to the Seven Grapefruit Islands from the Orange Islands arc of the anime but the episode that took place there had been released in Japan but not in the US so unless Chris was really paying attention to the Japanese releases of the anime it couldn’t have been an inspiration.
Mewchu’s first creation is Mew, the Pokemon considered the genetic predecessor of all other Pokemon, at least the original 151. While Mewchu is the master of all seven elements, Mew is only competent at one by Chris’s standards and is apparently only responsible for the Psychic-Type (by the standards of the TCG, which also includes the video games’s Ghost-Types) Pokemon.
The first Pokemon to be created are the Grass-Types (and Bug-Types and Poison-Types since those count as Grass-Types in the TCG), possibly referring to the first Pokemon in the Pokedex being Bulbasaur, who is the first listed here. Mewchu rubs the plant life of one of the seven islands and everything on the island begins mutating. Unlike God, Jesus, and The Bear, who tasked Adam and Eve to name the animals of the Garden of Eden, Mewchu makes the animals name themselves. Scyther is supposed to be a mantis, by the way, not a dragonfly.
To create Fire-Type Pokemon, Mewchu drenches animals in lava and sets them on fire. I guess that’s one way to make Fire-Type animals.
Another island is drowned underneath a tidal wave by Mewchu and the only survivors are those beasts that can instantly adapt (or Chris’s worded the first sentence poorly). Apparently Mewchu also caused some sort of oil spill because it says that Horsea began spitting oil (Horsea’s Pokedex entries mention it shooting ink like a squid, but ink is not oil.)
Next, Mew takes care of its singular duty, creating the Psychic- (and Ghost-) Types. Let it be known that despite the name Psyduck is in fact not Psychic-Type. After creating all the other Psychic-Types, Mew has a random baby (omitted is the sequence where Mew was on Maury trying to figure out who the father was. It was probably Slowpoke.) Said baby attacks its mother immediately after birth, and one of the two ends up getting thrown up a tree (easily this is the most confusing sentence in the piece). If we were to assume that this was Mew attempting to destroy her violent son Mewtwo, it might have been a reference to the birth of Hephaestus, who was deemed so hideous by his mother Hera that she threw him off Mount Olympus, crippling him, but this deep mythological cut is unlikely. Either way this child instantly grows into the canonically man-made Mewtwo. For whatever reason, Chris attributes all of the canonically man-made Pokemon, Mewtwo, Porygon, and the fossils revived by man Kabuto, Omanyte, and Aerodactyl to Mewchu and its little helper.
The Fighting- (and Ground- and Rock-) Types are passed over in a handwave, not even getting specific origins. It’s possible that since many of the Gen I Fighting-Types were humanoid (the Machop line, the Hitmons), Chris didn’t want to imply that any Pokemon were once humans.
In a similarly violent fashion as the Fire-Types, the Electric-Types are electrocuted to transform them into magical beings. Chris also offers an alternate take on the origins of the Voltorb - instead of being a Pokeball that somehow came to life, it was instead a coconut that came to life. Why then it sports the colors and patterns of a Pokeball is left unclear.
Lastly, Mewchu creates the Colorless (read: Normal-Type plus Dratini) Pokemon similarly to the Fighting-Types - in a long list. After giving some Pokemon a crash course on evolving, presumably finishing the complete 151, Mewchu scurried off. Whatever happened to Mewchu in the millennia afterward is left unknown. Did Mewchu create the rest of the Pokemon, the ones that didn’t exist when Chris wrote this? Did Mewchu cease to be? We’ll never know. I’d love it if Chris revisited this story this fall around its twentieth anniversary, have it be fifteen pages full of Pokemon origins. “And then, Mewchu and Mew got super high and said ‘you know what would be super cool? Flying Nazca Lines.’ and then they created Sigilyph.”

Pokemon Sacred Gold Nuzlocke - Prologue Part I
Every journey has its humble beginnings. But I imagine most don’t begin with you waking up in a strange room with an old man you’ve never met before.
Well, with a 7 character limit, that’s about as close as you’re going to get.
Once the old man dreams are over, we walk downstairs and get a bicycle thrown at us by our mother. At least they give you all the Touchscreen buttons at the same time instead of having to watch each button appear individually in the original. Starting the game with the bike is also a nice change.
Skipping ahead to choosing our starter, the random number generator decided that my starter will be Chikorita. My least favorite of the Johto starters, but at least we’ll have decent defenses against the few things that don’t have super effective moves to use against it.
I was going for a Zelda reference, but the MHA reference is also appropriate.
What an amazing nature. -_- Didn’t even get the hidden ability, but as you’ll soon see, that may have been a blessing.
Wouldn’t be a Johto game if we weren’t giving out our phone number within the first few minutes.
The majority of the rules won’t become active until after we get Pokeballs, but I needed to point out that this Pidgey got a critical hit on the first turn of our first battle. Don’t worry, a Wurmple and a Bidoof also landed crits before I could reach Cherrygrove.
Oh good, now Deku isn’t the only one in danger.
I need an adult.
Cutting this intro into two parts because it’s way too long. Will Midnite and Deku reach the next tutorial objective without any issues? I doubt it.

Arbitrary Code Execution in Pokemon Red/Blue With Item 8F
This is a list of Arbitrary Code Execution (ACE) codes using the glitch item named “8F.” (hex value: 0x5D) Don’t know what 8F is/how to use it? Visit this video to find out more.
Codes were obtained from our good friends at Glitch City Laboratories. I’m simply compiling and organizing them.
BOOTSTRAPPING:
8F won’t do anything amazing by itself. In order to make it execute code, we need to use the party Pokemon to spell out a short program. This program will redirect the instruction pointer to the item pack, so that the effects of 8F become easier to control. This process is referred to as bootstrapping.
There are several bootstrapping configurations that are easier or harder to set up. Below I listed the most commonly used ones.
TheZZAZZGlitch’s Pokémon Red/Blue 8F 6-Pokémon 233 Attack bootstrap
1. Exactly 6 Pokémon in the party
2. Onix as the first Pokémon
3. Pidgey as the second Pokémon
4. Tentacool as the third Pokémon
5. Meowth as the fourth Pokémon
6. 24 PP left on the second Pokémon’s second move w/ 0 PP Ups used
7. 21 PP left on the second Pokémon’s third move w/ 1 PP Up used
8. 36 PP left on the fourth Pokémon’s first move w/ 0 PP Ups used
9. 24 PP left on the fourth Pokémon’s second move w/ 0 PP Ups used
10. 20 PP left on the fourth Pokémon’s third move w/ 0 PP Ups used
11. Double Team as the fifth Pokémon’s first move
12. Double Kick as the fifth Pokémon’s second move
13. Strength as the fifth Pokémon’s third move
14. Sixth Pokémon’s attack stat has to be exactly 233
Pigdevil2010’s Pokémon Red/Blue 8F 5-Pokémon 233 HP bootstrap
1. Exactly 5 Pokémon in the party
2. Pidgey as the first Pokémon
3. Parasect as the second Pokémon
4. Onix as the third Pokémon
5. Tentacool as the fourth Pokémon
6. Kangaskhan as the fifth Pokémon
7. First Pokémon’s current HP has to be exactly 233
8F CODES:
GAMESHARK CONVERTER
This code is powerful and can convert simple Gameshark codes into 8F scripts.
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* 8F
* Any item, any quantity
X Accuracy x (b2)
Carbos x (b3)
Max Revive x (b1)
Poké Ball x201
(To obtain the 201 Poké Balls stack, have Poké Balls x73 in the sixth item pack slot, then encounter / capture MissingNo or ’M. It will be a stack of 201 Poké Balls.)
Gameshark Code Format: 01(b1)(b2)(b3)
Keep in mind, Gameshark codes are in hex and need to be converted to decimal for the number of items in your bag. For example, the code 010138CD, which allows to walk through walls, can be transcripted into the following:
01(01)(38)(CD)
b1 = 01
b2 = 56
b3 = 205
Therefore, set up your bag like this:
* 8F
* Any item, any quantity
X Accuracy x 56
Carbos x 205
Max Revive x 01
Poké Ball x 201
“CATCH ‘EM ALL” SCRIPT
8F will act like an item that forces a Pokemon encounter based on the quantity of item #1, allowing to catch all 151 Pokemon easily.
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* Preferably Master Balls
* 8F
TM50 x31
TM11 x4
TM34 x89
TM08 x201
ALTERNATIVE CATCH 'EM ALL
This version of the Catch 'Em All script requires more items, but gives the Pokemon instead of forcing an encounter (like: BLUE got EEVEE!), and allows for getting normally unobtainable glitch Pokemon without trading. The given Pokemon depends on the quantity of the 3rd item.
Remark: Avoid obtaining Missingno with this method. It will duplicate your 6th item and screw the opcodes up.
Second Remark (by me):
Missingno. is not the only glitchmon that will change your item pack. The following will also cause changes. (If you use this script to obtain them, simply fix your items before using the script again.)
-94 h and 94 are item mutators. They mutate the fourth item in your pack.
-Pokemon hex F4 changes the quantity of item #6.
-Pokemon EC mutates item 4.
-Pokemon EA alters the quantity of 5th item. (adds 2)
-E8 mutates item slot 6.
-E6 mutates 5th item slot.
-E5 mutates 6th item slot.
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* Any item
* 8F
Repel x[SpeciesIndex]
X Speed x14
Ultra Ball x64
TM05 x72
Lemonade x201
CHANGE THE PLAYER’S NAME
With this setup, you can change your name to the nickname of your first Pokemon. Using 8F will copy one letter from your first Pokemon’s nickname to your player name. Use 8F (length of the name+1) times to copy all the name characters.
Warning: This code is self modifying, it will increase quantities of items #3 and #5 every use - remember to set those quantities back to 181 and 88 if you want to reset this. Also use carefully, as there’s no memory protection implemented and you may cause save corruption if you’re not careful.
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* Any item
* 8F
TM50 x181
TM10 x64
TM34 x88
TM09 x46
Calcium x52
X Accuracy x35
Full Heal x201
ITEM MUTATOR (FOR SECOND ITEM)
This easy code uses only 3 basic items, and it increases the first item’s index by 1 every time 8F is used. You can obtain normally unobtainable items, glitch items or TMs so you can do other ACE codes.
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* 8F
* Item you want to morph
Burn Heal x43
Ice Heal x43
Full Heal x201
WALK THROUGH WALLS
Jump off a ledge after using 8F to walk through walls.
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* Any item
* 8F
TM34 x20
TM15 x201
CLEAR A POKEMON BOX
When 8F was first discovered, the method of obtaining it had a slight chance to corrupt Pokemon at the PC box, causing crashes when trying to release/withdraw them. One can either deal with it and switch to another box, or make the box empty with this code.
Switch to the corrupted box, use 8F, done. Be careful though, you don’t probably want to clear the box with your L100 legendaries!
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* Any item
* 8F
Lemonade x1
Soda Pop x64
TM34 x128
TM18 x201
CHANGE BACKGROUND MUSIC
Came up with another script: Change the background music.
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* 8F
* Any item
Awakening x (sound bank)
Lemonade x (song index)
TM05 x 161
HP UP x 201
And I couldn’t find a list of song indices anywhere from googling, so here’s one I made from the ROM map on Datacrystal a while ago:

So, if for example you wanted to play the SS Anne music, you’d need 2 Awakenings and 216 Lemonades. If you wanted to play the Pokemon Tower music, you’d need 31 Awakenings and 240 Lemonades.
Something to note, if you use anything from Bank 02 or Bank 1F in battle, it’ll mess with the other battle sound effects. If you use anything from Bank 08 on the overworld, it’ll also mess with other sound effects.

This is in case you need zero of an item for particular 8F codes, or need to quickly duplicate items.
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* 8F
* Item you want zero of X2 (or, X1, if you want to get 255 of it)
Burn Heal X43
Ice Heal X53
Revive X201
CHANGE THE TYPE OF THE CURRENT BOX SLOT ONE POKEMON
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* Any item
* 8F
Lemonade x number corresponding to type
X-accuracy x 155 for primary type and x 156 for secondary type
Carbos x 218
Pokeball x 119
Fresh Water x 201
Still need to make the list of values for the different types, but I do know Normal = 00.
Note, the stats page for your pokemon will still display its old typing, but when taken into battle, it will behave with the modified typing.
MAKE ANY POKEMON SHINY (WHEN TRANSFERRED)
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* Any item (any #)
* 8F
Lemonade x 170
X Acc x 178
Carbos x 218
Pokeball x 119
Fresh Water x 201
Put the Pokemon you want to make Shiny in the current box (in the first slot), then use 8F with 178x X Acc, then toss one X Acc and use 8F again. What this does is sets the atk/def/spc/spe DVs to 10, which makes it shiny on transfer. Keep in mind it only works for the first slot of the current box.
CHANGE YOUR TRAINER ID TO GF EVENT MEW
Gen 1 Mews are normally not transferrable to newer games unless your trainer ID matches the one that GF used during the official, special events that gave Mews out to people. If you want your gen 1 Mew to be transferrable, you’ll need to use this code.
You’ll need to set up your Pokemon party like this:
Mew
Pidgey with 233 current HP (I recommend getting it at level 1 through TFly then leveling it up, and using as many HP Ups as needed)
Parasect
Onix
Tentacool
Arbok (can be obtained via TFly even if not playing Red)
ITEM LIST (starting from the first slot):
* 8F
* Any item x89
Dire Hit x58
Iron x37
X Accuracy x119
Water Stone x62
Burn Heal x50
Poké Ball x43
Antidote x43
Protein x62
PP Up x60
Ice Heal x50
Lemonade x133
Great Ball x50
Fresh Water x34
TM01 x[any qty]
Just use 8F once and check your Mew’s stats page. Should be good to go!

For this video entry on Pidgeot we encounter this Pokémon in a London rooftop. We also look at Pidgeot’s Pokédex entry, and explore further into royal connections of Pidgeot! First I describe a normal Pidgeot, and then a shiny Pidgeot using the Pokémon Go camera on a London rooftop. Second, I summarise all official Pokédex entries. I also look at the origins of the Pidgeot name. Third, I review Pidgeot's biology. What’s Pidgeot’s habitat? What does Pidgeot eat? What are some of the things trainers need to take into account? What are their natures and personalities like? Is Pidgeot a Pokémon that will help in your journey to become a Pokémon master? In the last part I go over my thoughts on Pidgeot. By focusing all of the qualities of Pidgey and Pidgeotto in the end you have Pidgeot who is a loyal, fair, kind and regal Pokémon who opponents should think twice in underestimating! 🐦 - Normal form ✨ - Shiny form Social Media: INSTAGRAM - https://ift.tt/2Zyk1QX TWITTER - https://twitter.com/londoninstinct_ TUMBLR - https://ift.tt/2OwJGaP Music: Intro Mix - TroyisCurious Sources: * Pokémon - https://ift.tt/2eGlvVa *Bulpedia - https://ift.tt/2uvKkIV *Additional sources can be made available upon request.
